V soboto, 1.6.2024 je bila rokodelska razstava izdelkov članic in članov PZDU Dolenjske in Bele krajine. Organizator razstave je bilo Društvo upokojencev Loški Potok. Sodelovalo je 15 društev, med njimi tudi članice rokodelske sekcije Društva upokojencev Prečna. Predstavile so svoje izdelke, ki jih zadnje leto vneto izdelujejo. Razstavo je ob svojem nagovoru otvorila predsednica rokodelske sekcije pri ZDUS ga. Zdenka Bevc. Poudarila je pomen sekcije, ki za večino udeležencev pomeni razvedrilo in sprostitev. Ob enem pa izkazujejo tudi svoj talent po ustvarjanju. Prisotne je pozdravila tudi vodja tehnične kulture – rokodelstva na PZDU ga. Marjana Vidic. Povedala je, da je v PZDU Dolenjske in Bele krajine 36 društev, od tega jih ima 18 rokodelsko sekcijo z 160. člani, na današnji razstavi pa sodeluje 15 društev. V imenu Občine Loški Potok je spregovorila podžupanja ga. Barbara Levstik – Šega. Pohvalila je vse sodelujoče in jih nagovorila k nadaljevanju rokodelske dejavnosti. Vse dogajanje s kratkim kulturnim programom, v katerem so nastopale ljudske pevke Povasjenke in recitatorka ter mladi harmonikar Tian Zbačnik, je vodila predsednica Društva upokojencev Loški Potok ga. Marija Turk. Domače društvo je vse sodelujoče na razstavi tudi lepo pogostilo.
