V torek 14.5.22024 je v dvorani kmetijske šole Grm na Bajnofu potekala 20. revija PZDU Dolenjske in Bele krajine. Revija je bila organizacijsko in po finančni plati v celoti v domeni PZDU Dolenjske in Bele krajine.
Najprej je navzoče in nastopajoče nagovorila predsednica PZDU Dolenjske in Bele krajine Cirila Zajc Surina in nato še predsednik komisije za kulturo pri ZDUS Cveto Bajc. Na srečanju je nastopilo 11 upokojenskih pevskih zborov PZDU Dolenjske in Bele krajine. Na reviji so se predstavili naslednji zbori : MePZ DU Novo mesto, MePZ DU Trebnje(spremljava harmonika), MePZ DU Šentrupert(spremljava harmonika), ŽePZ DU Kočevje, MePZ DU Straža, MePZ DU Podgorje Stopiče, MePZ DU Šentjernej(spremljava harmonika), MoPZ Rožmarin DU Mirna Peč, MePZ DU Mali Slatnik, ŽePZ DU Metlika in MePZ DU Mirna.
Nastopajoči pevski zbori so se predstavili z dovoljšnjo mero pevskega znanja, predvsem pa so pokazali ljubezen do petja in težnjo po ohranjanju zborovskega petja in da se še naprej ohranja prava preprosta, globoko občutena pesem, pa tudi do materine besede.
Revija upokojenskih pevskih zborov naše pokrajinske zveze je imela tudi izborni značaj, saj je bilo potrebno določiti pevski zbor, ki bo zastopal našo pokrajinsko zvezo na srečanju upokojenskih pevskih zborov 12. junija letos na medgeneracijskem srečanju v Ljubljani.
Komisija, kateri je predsedoval predsednik komisije za kulturo pri ZDUS Cveto Bajc, je bila enotnega mnenja, da se je najbolj kakovostno predstavil MoPZ Rožmarin DU Mirna Peč. Komisija je bila tudi enotnega mnenja, da si je na 20. reviji PZDU Dolenjske in Bele krajine, kot z drugim najkvalitetnejšim nastopom zasluži MePZ Podgorje Stopiče, ki je pod vodstvom prof. Antona Finka naredila velik napredek . Pri določitvi tretjega mesta se je komisija po usklajevanju odločila, da si tretje mesto delita ŽePZ DU Kočevje in ŽePZ DU Metlika.
Glede na to , da je MoPZ Rožmarin DU Mirna Peč že večkrat zastopal našo pokrajinsko zvezo na republiških revijalnih srečanjih upokojenskih pevskih zborov v Ljubljani, je komisija odločila, da našo pokrajinsko zvezo na letošnji republiški reviji upokojenskih pevskih zborov 12. junija v Ljubljani zastopa MePZ Podgorje Stopiče..
Seveda moramo pohvaliti tudi ostale pevske zbore, ki niso omenjeni v izboru, saj tudi oni s svojim trudom in delom ohranjajo zborovsko petje med upokojenci v naši pokrajinski zvezi.
V kulturnem programu revije pevskih zborov je sodeloval učenec glasbene šole Marjana kozine in recitator DU Novo mesto Marjan Hren. Program je povezoval Karol Zagorc.
Ob zaključku prireditve so vsi pevski zbori družno skupaj zapeli pod taktirko harmonike Slavka Frančiča venček pesmi.
